Jerky Loader in Kubota L2800

kubota m9000 Problems

Hi friends. I am a newbie to orangetractortalks (today) and tractors in general.

I have a 2007 Kubota L2800 HST with a LA463 and a BH75. Tractor and implements bought new by uncle three years ago, but little used due to later declining health. So it all came to me when he passed away a few months ago. I don’t know much about motors and the like so hopefully I can get some sound advice here.

Tractor only has a total of 23 hours on it. (I was 19 it was I received it). You started to notice last week that the LEF lift is becoming somewhat jerky and not as fast / smooth to lift as it was before. I have read the posts here with similar situations and the good advice. But with only 23 hours on my tractor and no signs of leaks, could the filter need cleaning so soon?

So I am wondering if the hydraulic fluid screen needs to be cleaned. I have checked the transmission fluid window and it’s all the way up with a little bubble so I’m assuming fluid levels are not an issue. I still have the BH75 attached to the rear as well and the hub curl seems slower as well. Am I damaging something by using the FEL with this shake?

I thought I’d check with some knowledgeable veterans before contacting a local dealer I don’t know of at all.

This is a classic example of a cracked suction hose to the hydraulic pump. (located just above the brake pedals). You may not be able to see the crack and it usually does not leak oil so it is not obvious. This is a common problem on L2800-3400 tractors
